Our Dedicated Leader Our congregation is blessed with dedicated leader who contribute to the spiritual growth and wellbeing of our church community. He work tirelessly to ensure that Mt. Calvary is a place where everyone feels welcome, valued, and supported in their faith journey. From leading bible studies, being visible at community events and a voice to better our community. His commitment helps us grow together as a family in Christ.
Pastor Thurston L. Wiggins Serving as our Pastor since November 12, 2014, Pastor Thurston L. Wiggins has been married to Maria Wiggins for the past 16 years. He has been a steadfast shepherd to our congregation. He provides spiritual nourishment to our members. Pastor Wiggins’ passion for community involvement, leading and serving as a example to the community sets a powerful example of living out our faith through action. They both are employee of Decatur public school District 61 were they are committed to making a impact on the students. They have earned a Master degree in Education and Psychology and a Bachelors degree in Biblical Study. Pastor Wiggins is a certified chaplain.

At Mt. Calvary Missionary Baptist Church, our pastoral ministry is led by two devoted and inspiring leaders: Pastor Thurston Wiggins (pictured left) and Reverend Dedric Hill (pictured right).
